    You can also secure the knife down with clear wire on the top and bottom of the handle. Just see through the foam board

    I tend to do this. I have a hobby for arts and crafts and some wood work. May I suggest to use hot glue for patches and a pin for reenforcement. Pins and staples for the jacket. Elmers glue isn’t suffice for thick material. Just a suggestion.

    The only thing I would do different is the bottom of the drawer that is probably 1/8 to 1/4 thick should slightly protrude into the face of the drawer a 1/4”. To make sure the bottom is secure. Great instructional video.

      Well that depends on the width of the flag once folded. The thinner the better. But the ones pictured here are 3 inches. But these are large flags

      yes. the rolls were very wide. so picture it rolling from are rest to arm rest. Still had plenty left over

    Nice! For the future, the Crome handles on the draws slide right off to the sides. Saves the time tapping them off. Great restoration!

    Thanks! Found marketplace toolbox $15 that’s dirty and little paint chip. Originally red so will have to paint everything black to match my other table but you pointed me to the right direction. Sand, clean, primer, paint. Guess I would do little extra and put 2k clear over it

    OMG! I have the original opal (like from the kickstarter) and it has always screeched. I was able to fix it following your video! Only thing I did differently was add some food safe grease to the top and bottom of the auger. And I had only one extra screw. :)

    The screws have rusted to dust on my spindle shield. I've tried to push it off lightly with a flathead screwdriver, but I'm afraid it'll break. It's not budging. I was thinking of spraying WD40 in the holes next. Any ideas for a way to get it off now, please?

      Same process. Remove the cap and take a pair of Needle Nose plyers and pull the cable while lifting your seat. Then follow the rest of the instructions in this video to swap the cable holder.

    Great Video. I watched over a dozen videos. This is the only one that has the knob on the head like mine. I was able to replace the line quite easily once I knew how to do it. I have saved the link for when I replace the line again. Likely 10 years down the road. Thank you for the easy to follow steps and directions.😁

      No, the drive home un-jarred the locking mechanism. I lucked out. You can get them at Home depot. Look for mail box locks.

      Yes. Wind the top one first. Then the lower. So you can use the pinch slot to hold the line out of the way as you wind the second one.
